Is the Bootcamp a good fit for you?

Who is the Bootcamp for? Is it only designed for Etsy sellers?

This bootcamp works well for Etsy & Shopify sellers who have fallen behind on their bookkeeping. In 2025, I've added a "universal" Seller Spreadsheet to the program that you can use to manually enter in your sales if you're NOT on Etsy or Shopify at all.

At checkout, you'll select whether you sell on Etsy, Shopify, Etsy AND Shopify, or somewhere else entirely. Your selection will determine what spreadsheet(s) you receive access to inside the program.

There are lessons that walk you through importing in your sales and fees from both Etsy & Shopify. All students will have access to those lessons, but can skip them if not applicable. There are also universal lessons you can use to manually find, sort through, and enter in your sales & fees from any other platform(s). The goal is to help ALL types of ecomm sellers be able to catch up on their books as easily as possible.

Most of the Bootcamp lessons apply to most online businesses who sell physical or digital goods. Lessons cover how to find sales & fee info in PayPal, Stripe, and WooCommerce, as well as how to enter transactions from your business bank account. 

The course is beneficial whether you sell physical goods, digital goods, services, handmade items, vintage items, or supplies. It applies to both new sellers and experienced ones - all that matters is that you need help catching up on entering your financial data for the year.  

Is the Bootcamp only for US sellers?

The purpose of the Bootcamp is to help you get your financial books caught up at the end of the year. The work will benefit any seller that's behind on their books. That being said, there are lessons that cover US-based tax requirements. These concepts may or may not be transferable to sellers in other countries.

When does the Bootcamp begin and end?

All course content will be available on December 16th. You will work at your own pace to complete the course before your taxes are due. There will be two live co-working sessions hosted in both January & February, a live Get It Done Week in early February.

The content will remain published until May 1, so you have plenty of time to get your bookkeeping done by the tax deadline. After May 1, the content will be locked away until next year. If you plan to file an extension, please plan accordingly to get the most out of the course.

What if I'm eligible for multiple discounts?

You an only use one coupon code at checkout. So if you are eligible for multiple discounts, I suggest you use the one that will save you the most!

How does this course work? How much time will it take me to complete it?

The course includes about 14 lessons that are designed to be worked through at your own pace. Each lesson may include text, downloadable PDF worksheets or checklists, or video tutorials. Two main spreadsheets are included - the Seller Spreadsheet, where the majority of your work will be done, and a special inventory worksheet created especially to help you count your inventory, calculate your purchases and ending inventory.  

The course material itself is a mostly tutorials on how to do each step of updating your books, with a little bit of accounting and tax education thrown in to help you get a clear understanding of what you're actually doing. Each lesson can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours - it really just depends on how far behind you are and how many transactions you have to enter during a certain module.  

Since the goal is to have your books completed for tax purposes, I suggest you plan to finish the course no later than early April, since your tax return is likely due April 15th, 2026. I suggest getting started after the holidays are over, and completing one or two lessons per week.

For this reason, I shut down enrollment in late February every year. I want every student to have enough time to complete the course.

Will you be there to answer questions about the material?

Yes. This year all students are invited to join a pop-up private FB group that I will continuously monitor for your questions. I will answer any questions about the material or your coursework here in a timely manner so you can keep working!  

Will the Bootcamp be open throughout the year?

No. I close enrollment every year in late February. This maintains the integrity of the course and gives all enrolled students enough time to complete the course well ahead of the tax deadline. The content will remain published until May 1 for all enrolled students. Remember, the bootcamp was designed with a very specific goal in mind - to catch up on your 2025 financials!  

Do you have captions on your videos?  

Yes! All of my videos include closed captions. 

What's your refund policy?

I firmly stand behind the content of the Bootcamp and I want you to be satisfied with your investment. If you enroll in the Bootcamp and feel like it's not a good fit for you, I will offer a refund - minus the $97 cost of the included Seller Spreadsheet, which is nonrefundable - within 14 days of enrollment. I do not offer refunds on the spreadsheet portion of the course.
